Dino Melaye, a Nigerian Senator representing Kogi West in the red chamber, has reacted to reports of the arrest and parade of political thugs reportedly funded to unleash mayhem in Kogi State by him.
Taking to Twitter to react to the report, Senator Dino Melaye tweeted;
Senator Dino Melaye is representing Kogi West! How can he now fund thugs from Kogi East??This lies looks so cheap! Why will force PPRO go all the way to lokoja to parade suspects? This strategy is weak and dead on arrival ~~~ The venom of a viper does nothing to the back of a tortoise
Fabricated lies by Kogi State Govt and the police will fail. It’s utterly laughable and preposterous. It’s a sign of desperation. No amount of lies and blackmail will detract my attention from speaking the truth and defending it.
Senator Dino Melaye also claimed he is the main target of the move by the Nigerian Police, to withdraw policemen attached to Nigerian VIPs. He tweeted;
Withdrawal of police from VIP I am the target. IG want to expose me so I can be killed. Having survived Assassination attempt twice I deserve police protection in a country where I’m a tax payer.
We further checked Senator Dino Melaye’s Twitter handle, and we discovered that he tweeted about the public parade of the alleged political thugs linked to him, before it happened. His tweets on the political thugs, which were copied posts from one Sule Thomas read;
