Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede, has subtly thrown a shade at all Nigerian female deejays (DJ Cuppy inclusive) except her friend. DJ Switch who is celebrating her birthday today, April 26,2018.
The popular DeeJay who is signed to P-Classic records(record label owned by Peter Okoye, one-half of the Nigerian pop duo P-Square) clocks 30 today.
Yvonne Jegede who took to her Instagram page to celebrate the deejay had stated that she is the only relevant female deejay in Nigeria.
In an attempt to make the celebrant feel appreciated on her special day, the actress might have thrown a shade at DJs Cuppy and Lambo.
Jegede who posted a photo of Switch looking sway, captioned the message;
“Happy Birthday to the only relevant female DJ in Nigeria. God bless you everyday”
A fan then queried her on if DJ Cuppy is irrelevant but the actress didn’t respond.
Remember Comedian Ushbebe had also thrown a direct jibe at DJ Cuppy. He did so in one of his shows where he claimed the female deejay and daughter to one of Nigeria’s richest men, Femi Otedola, is wack.
He said,
“That Otedola daughter, e no sabi play nothing. She is a whack DJ, tell her you said so. If you go to Cuppy party, na only oyinbo music you go dey hear.
“When people like Consequence wey don suffer for Ajao estate when dey hold DJ instrument, you go dey fear, he they play like a fool.
“Otedola with the money, stupid money. Small pikin sing for you since last year till now. Otedola with the money ohhh, noting you give the boy since that year, now the boy don relocate, nothing you give the boy.
“Me I can’t call any big man name dey sing. God forbid the only people I want.”
He later claimed it was just a joke and he didn’t mean to hurt her in any way
