Up to 99% cleaner air with patented Nanoe-G Technology’s three-stage air purification system

Panasonic has unveiled a new range of air conditioners that promises to deliver cleaner and healthier indoor air quality.  Consistently attuned to the needs of its customers in Nigeria, the company engineered the new ACs with its patented air purification system called Nanoe-G Technology, which actively removes airborne particles as small as PM2.5, thus giving up to 99% cleaner air.

Inspired by the slogan ‘Quality Air for Life’, Panasonic is committed to offer total air solutions that not only deliver enhanced indoor air quality but improved cooling function and energy efficiency as well.  In addition to the three-stage purification system offered by the Nanoe-G Technology, the air conditioners are also equipped with the iAuto feature that gives up to 15% faster cooling at start up through consistent airflow and automatic fan speed.  The ACs are also designed with Aerowings that shoots cool air powerfully at long range by squeezing the cold air inside the main unit with two flaps at the top and bottom. This shower cooling effect by the Aerowings gives you more precise cooling where you want it.

Environmental challenges remain a priority issue in the country amidst its continued economic progress.  With business analysts predicting a healthy growth rate in the domestic air conditioner market, primarily driven by intensifying construction activities both in the residential and commercial sectors, Panasonic reiterates its resolve to improve people’s lives by creating products that benefit the society.

“As we mark Panasonic’s 100th anniversary, we continue to be inspired to deliver superior standards of products to our customers.  These new range of air conditioners combine cutting-edge technology, intelligent features and durable design consistent with our adherence to the highest Japanese quality of craftmanship,” said Mr. Hiroyuki Shibutani – Head of Africa Division, Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa.

Another important feature of the ACs is the ECONAVI technology for smart energy saving.  ECONAVI’s intelligent sensors detect potential waste of energy using the Human Activity Sensor and Sunlight Sensor. By automatically adjusting power according to room environment, the ACs achieve up to 35% energy savings during cooling.

Mr. Suraj Rupani, Promoter for Panaserv Nigeria Limited, the official partner and distribution channel of Panasonic in Nigeria, emphasized that the new air conditioners boast the renowned Panasonic quality of durability by incorporating functions in the appliance that match the regional characteristics of Nigeria.  “Nigeria has unique environmental and usage criteria and we ensure that the products we introduce are well suited to the Nigerian consumer noting how hot and humid our climate is, these ACs indeed meet our needs.  The ACs come with an automatic voltage adjustment device that switches off the unit when power supply is unstable. They are also built with the Blue Fin Condenser, which, through a special coating layer, are specially protected against corrosion from air, water and other corrosive agents,” he added.

To allow safe and extended use, Panasonic air conditioners are also provided with a variety of safety and durability design measures. Their performance is also backed by thorough testing – such as noise/ vibration/shock resistance – as well as dropping tests that simulate possible accidents while being transported to the customer.
