Girl Believed To Be Dead Resurrects Two Years After Burial[Photo]

There was a silent scream in Masala town in Ndola, Zambia, after a girl believed to be dead and buried two years ago returned to her parent’s home on Monday.

Zambian press learnt that the girl, identified as Winnie, died after an illness and her body was first taken to a morgue before a proper funeral and interment was reportedly conducted for her.

Her resurrection became shocking after her parents and neighbors maintained that the girl passed on and was buried at Mitingo. When asked how she was able to return to her parents after being buried for two years?

The girl said she was not buried but a banana tree was.

The family of the girl, the girl and hundreds of residents from the community gathered at the Central Police waiting for a DNA test to be conducted on the girl.

Her parents also presented her birth and death certificate to the police.
