Jon Snow Is Married! “Game Of Thrones” Stars Turn Up As Costars Kit Harrington & Rose Leslie Get Married
Game of Thrones” actors Kit Harington and Rose Leslie got married today!
The duo had met while playing on-screen couple Jon Snow and Ygritte, and they officially tied the knot on Saturday.
The ceremony took place in Rayne Church in Scotland, with the celebration continuing at Wardhill Castle, an estate owned by Rose‘s family.
Present at the ceremony were several costars, including Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, and Emilia Clarke.

Pictures of the happy couple after their wedding show them beaming as they wave and smile at well-wishers. Kit was wearing a black tail coat with grey trousers, a cream waistcoat and a black tie. Rose looked incredible in a lace wedding dress with a veil and floral headpiece. Game Of Thrones stars Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Emilia Clarke were among the wedding guests.
The actor was seen arriving at the 12th century Wardhill Castle earlier in the day, where he tied the knot with Rose. And for those interested, he still has the hairstyle of his Game Of Thrones character Jon Snow.
Meanwhile his bride-to-be Rose Leslie was also seen at the castle walking arm in arm with her dad Sebastian. Kit and Rose met on the show, with Rose playing Ygritte from seasons two to four. The couple have been together for four years.
Ahead of the wedding ceremony, Rose’s dad spoke about how happy he was for his daughter. Speaking outside the castle, he said: ‘We are absolutely thrilled for Kit and Rose to be marrying today. It’s an absolutely lovely day for us.
‘It’s a great day for Aberdeenshire. We are using local caterers, local lighting, local flowers.’ The actors announced their engagement in The Times newspaper last year. Kit had previously revealed that he’d asked producers to shut down filming on Thrones’ final season so his castmates could attend the big day. He said: ‘I rang up [the producer] and I said, “I’m getting married and it’s your fault actually”… I think for the final season he is so stressed that he’s reached that peaceful level. ‘I was like, “You need to factor in a Game of Thrones wedding by the way.” They have all got to be there so the whole thing has got to shut down
Happy married life…
