Facebook user, Aliyu Umar who shared photos from the marriage ceremony, disclosed that the event took place at LAPAI L.G in Niger State.
He wrote

This is coming after it was reported that a Kano State-based Quranic School teacher, handed over his 13-year-old daughter identified as Bilkisu, to his 56-year-old friend who already has three wives.
Inside Kano reported that the Islamic scholar, a resident of Kurna Babban Layi area of the state, defied all entreaties from friends and family members to stop him from handing over the teenage girl to his friend but he refused.
