In a very sad turn of events, a Nigerian student simply identified as Tiombe David Afeah, has committed suicide in Cyprus.
The student, said to be 21 years old reportedly ended his life by jumping from his apartment.
Sources close to the situation allege that after his landlord came knocking on Friday, January, 11, Afeah jumped down from his balcony, sustaining grave injuries.
He reportedly died the following Wednesday from head injuries he sustained from the jump, 5 days after he was admitted at the intensive care unit of the Lefkosa State Hospital, in Cyprus.
Further investigation revealed that the deceased who has owed his Landlord for a long time was afraid of being evicted.
The 21-year-old until the time of his death was student of Cyprus International University.
