VP, Osinbajo Donates N1M For The Treatment Of Actor Baba Suwe Who Is Battling Chronic Diabetes
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday donated the sum of N1million for the treatment of ailing Yoruba actor Babatunde Omidina popularly know as Baba Suwe who is currently battling chronic diabetes.
Since the news of his illness broke few days ago, the renown comic has received tremendous support from his colleagues and well wishers. According to actor Yomi Fabiyi who is part of the fund raising committee, millions have been raised so far.
Part of those who have contributed for Baba Suwe’s treatment is VP Yemi Osinbajo who made his donation through the Office of the Youth Organising Secretary, APC Lagos, Aregbe Idris.
While making the donation, Osinbajo offered a prayer for the speedy recovery of the actor and also urged more Nigerians to support him.
“God is to us a God of deliverance; and death has no power over your life. I am positive that his healing hands will restore your health and cast out every form of infirmity in your body,”Osinbajo
said.
Babasuwe came into the limelite in the 90’s with his Yoruba comedy TV show ‘Erin Kereke’ before going on to act in 100’s of movies and even producing some of his own.
