Harry And Meghan Reveal Baby’s Name As ‘Archie Harrison’ As Queen Sees Child For The First Time
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have named their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, it has been revealed.
The announcement was made on the couple’s official Instagram page @SussexRoyal with a black and white photo showing the Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, and Meghan’s Mum Doria Ragland. See the post below:
Little Archie Harrison made his very first public appearance at a photocall alongside a thrilled Prince Harry and Meghan in the grounds of Windsor Castle, where the new family have been holed up since the historic birth on Monday. If you missed the post read it HERE.
Harry hinted, when he announced the birth Monday, that the royal couple had already decided on a name, saying that because Meghan was overdue, that had given them some extra time to think about their choice.
However, couple could not have disclosed the name until they had run it past the queen for approval, who they met on Wednesday afternoon.
