PRESS RELEASE from GLORY OSEI.

This is an unofficial press release. In the short time since we had to deal with the outpour we couldn’t wait to have a professional give us a well polished write up to address all of the many allegations leveled against my company and my person. We had not planned for this and we have never imagined we would at any time have to defend our livelihood and humanity.

  1. First my Businesses. PorkMoney and Porkoyum. PorkMoney was born out of our need to connect pig farmers with capital. This we have done. In the time since we started we have provided more financing outside of traditional institutions for farmers who had previously never been attended to, and also in that time we have done more than helping finance the purchase and rearing of their livestock, we have also gone beyond that to create our factory, the porkoyum factory, that helps into turning this livestock into recognisable consumables- Bacon and sausages. This had always been our goal and it is a work in progress, but one we are very happy of. Now since we started PorkMoney and its subsidiary (Porkoyum) we decided to use our cashflow to invest in businesses that allowed for more liquidity in the short term. This was how Landlagos was born.
  2. Landlagos. Landlagos got off to a rocky start. Our former manager (a Mrs Linda) who was key in negotiating our plots had omitted a lot of details. First was the one about titles, a key one. We went around and found that we could perfect it with the right contacts in the ministry, this is something we have actually made headway in. All the owners of property in Landlagos would now have it easier to perfect this property. But this is not our only property. We have over 60 plots of land at Lakowe, all with their full titles including a C of O. We had to dismiss Mrs Linda for the misdirection and also for planning to disrupt our services with some “omonile” people she had planned with to come and play on our naivety and make financial demands she basically orchestrated. Since that whole debacle the health of Landlagos has been fine. We are making a lot of progress and we cant wait to unveil what we have been working on in secret.

Hyberfactory. This was a passion project born out of my experience in private labelling and shopping for cheaper items in China. Before venturing into Agriculture and real estate I was making bank off trending products. I started with Jewelry (True Rebel Fashion Company) and I moved on to Waist trainers, and even popular supplements like Slimtea, Flat tummy tea and the likes were made popular by me before I started to move on to more soul fulfilling businesses. Starting hyberfactory and my consultancy was a way to firstly earn of my knowledge because I had/have a lot to share, and also because it is well within my competency.

 Now to the allegations.

Mistreatment of staff. This is a very tricky subject, it is especially tricky as in the past when this has happened I have come to find that employers seldom get any remorse, for as far as the public is concerned, why give remorse to someone you may consider ahead fo the curve. But let me categorically state, I have never mistreated any staff. We are a passionate business people, and all our efforts was always aimed at growing the people we have. Could we be gentler? Definitely, and if anything this whole fiasco is a teachable moment for my company. I wish we had handled the VERY necessary dismissals with a little more tact. The problem with running a private company in Nigeria is that we can see the people gaming the system and doing the barest minimum and we understand on a very deep level how that affects the productivity of any system. We are now putting every measure in place to make absolutely certain that this is no longer the case.

2. Running a Ponzi scheme. This is a ludicrous statement. Everything we have done from when we started till now is to maximize the resources at our disposal, making sure to not take more than what we need to achieve what needs to be done. It is pretty jarring that anyone would say this given just how fragile our ecosystem is. We are on schedule to paying all of our partners, and in fact, off the potential of all our other ventures would not be needing any more outside capital to finance our growth effort.

3. Social media posturing. While I am a bit of a public personality I do like to keep certain aspects of my life very private. In conclusion. I have been very introverted for a very long time. I had to literally force myself to start posting on social media some 3 years ago anonymously, until I garnered the courage and stomach to make myself a public personality. The reason I have a social media profile that documents everything from what I do to how I live, this was an attempt to connect with an audience that I have been disconnected from since I was 19. It has taken a lot of determination and drive from me and my partner to grow with the very little we had to start with, and I am beyond sad that my worst fears about this platform has today been actualized. I hope with time and the progress we make as a company, many of you would begin to change your positions on how you have chosen to see me today. I also pray you read between the lines of every accusation and look for truth, ask questions. If I had to keep every staff that ever did us in as a company, and those who didn’t but for the actions of those who did created a ripple effect that would have affected our very existence, I wouldn’t have a company. For those who are unhappy with my perceived treatment of them while working for me, I sincerely apologize, and I do hope that over time, as you venture into creating businesses of yours that you get to understand why some things however unpalatable are totally necessary if one is to survive as a business owner in Nigeria.

Thank you.

She also shared another press release from her company Divergent

Her alleged husband Muyiwa Folorunso as at press time remains mum on the issue.

I have not actually come in contact with these two people(Osei & Muyiwa) so I don’t really want to judge them but these comments revealed a lot, I hope they will change and use this time to correct the wrongdoings.

I also heard from some close friends that had worked with Mount Zion Ministry that they maltreats their workers too..i was shocked to the core because I so much love & believe in Mike and Gloria Bamiloye.
