According to a new research published in the Archives of Sexual Behaviour journal, women with bigger boobs may suffer worse case of cold than flat chested women.
In the research, it was further revealed that such women take longer to recover from the cold than those with flatter chests.
The research found that ladies with F-cup sized breasts carried symptoms of colds, coughs and flu for an average of 8.3 days – compared to just 3.8 days for those with AA busts.
It also stated that bigger busts can result in respiratory infections taking twice as long to clear, and these ladies were also a staggering 56 times more likely to be prescribed a course of antibiotics for use.
The research, which surveyed more than 400 young women on the symptoms and duration of colds, flu and other respiratory infections they had experienced in the last three years, stated:
Breast size was positively related to respiratory infections.
It’s thought that fat stored in the boobs can weaken the immune system due to higher levels of the hormone leptin, which makes it more difficult to recover from colds and chest infections.
If you feel cold easily, notwithstanding the weather, wear appropriate clothes if you have to leave the comfort of your duvet.
