Award-winning American rapper, Lil Wayne has announced the date for the release of his new album, Funeral, following his 2018 album, Tha Carter V.
Wayne who made the announcement on his Twitter account, while giving a snippet of one of the songs on it.
He revealed that the album would be released on January 31.

Lil Wayne’s tweet also included a link to his website, where you can pre-order Funeral in its various formats: CD, LP, cassette, and digital.
This announcement comes nearly four years after he first teased his fans about the project during in 2016.
Later in April 2019, Lil Wayne posted an emoji of a coffin on Instagram Story.
