Twitter Users React After Pastor Adeboye Revealed Why He Asked One Of His Son’s To Sack His Secretary
Pastor E.A Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, on Wednesday said in a tweet that he once asked one of his sons’ to sack his secretary, it has emerged.
The 77 year old man of God made the revelation while advising his followers on micro blogging social networking site Twitter about marriage, and the need for couples to work on having close relationships with each other, other than ‘friends’ and outsiders.
He added that couples need to continue to work on communication and doing things together, rather than seeking “close friends” to take the place of their spouses as confidants, thereby giving room to be susceptible to infidelity. He finished the thread by reiterating that:
No one should be closer to you or know more about you than your spouse.

In one of the tweets which has since sparked diverse reactions from Twitter users, Pastor Adeboye wrote:
One of my sons once told me that he was always excited to resume in the office every Monday because he would get to see his secretary again. I told him to fire her immediately. Nothing and no one is worth your marriage.

Some Twitter users expressed censure over the tweet above, disagreeing with the advise the man of God gave to his son as a preemptive measure against temptation. They opine that Pastor Adeboye should have advised the Son in question to check himself, rather than fire the ‘innocent secretary’ for his inability to keep his feelings in check.
Others however agree with Pastor Adeboye’s tweet, opining that the advise was a good one to keep things from getting out of hand.

Pastor Adeboye asked his son to fire his secretary because he couldn't control the ecstasy of working around her.

An innocent woman lost her job for nothing and people are replying, "More grace to Daddy."
I don't understand, grace to fire more innocent people??
Pastor Adeboye’s thread is very reasonable and understandable. Many people think cheating is until you have sex or start dating… well, that doesn’t just happen overnight. It graduates from little things. A compliment there, lunch together there… all intendedly harmless until

Even people that won't let their partners keep besties of the opposite sex are condemning Pastor Adeboye…lol

I don't agree with his thread but most of you won't say pim if your partner pulls that move.
Infact you'd even feel "special" talmbout "cut him/her off for me"
Abegi!
Not that it matters but here's my own 2cents on Daddy GO Pastor Adeboye's tweet

1st, we live in a society where when/if a woman accuses you of something, nobody will listen to you, you are guilty as accused lol
Anything u say is "a lie/true" & anything she's says is "true/right"
Let's flip the script, Let 's assume that the person Pastor Adeboye's son is attracted to is the boss.

Would the advice be to resign? Or does it just concern people that work for you?
We can all criticize Pastor Adeboye for asking his son to sack his secretary until the wife of the son sees a romantic message between her husband&the secretary, takes it up,get into a fight with the husband and kill the husband in anger.

Then she gets sentence to death.
If a Feminist says.

"Men are scum, they can't hold their sexual urges"
Una go complain.
But Pastor Adeboye instead of telling His Son to Man up and bury his sexual urges.
Told his boy to sack a staff for merely existing.
U lot are defending it.
Low quality men🤝 hypocrisy
My sister if you chase away your help cos you feel she might tempt your hubby then you have no right to blast Pastor Adeboye. Like the only crime your help commited is developing breast and growing into a beautiful woman. Everyone is woke on social media ,hypocrites..

I just read Pastor Adeboye thread and I am not satisfied with the man sacking the woman coz he couldn’t control himself, instead he could have helped her secure a job in another place or change her dept and as for the other tweets below, it’s facts but that first tweet…..Nahhh!

You asked your son to render his secretary jobless over a possible non-issue that is not her fault, when you can simply just tell your son to behave himself and honor his own marriage if you suspect that there's more to the excitement?

If there is any fellow aside from your spouse you are admiring unduly, you must see such a person as the devil and get rid of them immediately.
— PastorEAAdeboye (@PastorEAAdeboye) January 29, 2020
Oh, you may say “I am not doing anything with the fellow; we are just friend.” That is exactly where it starts from. The devil knows you are a Christian and would not fall for someone just like that.

Proverbs 5:18 has this to say:
— PastorEAAdeboye (@PastorEAAdeboye) January 29, 2020
“Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.”
They no longer communicate as they used to. When they talk, it is only on serious issues about the children or other family needs, instead of talking/gisting about just anything as they used to in the early days of their marriage.
