Just In: Nigeria Customs Intercepts $8.6 million From Passenger At Lagos Airport
The Nigeria Customs Service has on Tuesday intercepted a passenger with over $8.6 million cash at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
A source who disclosed this to The Nation, said an airport worker linked with the movement of the money has been arrested.
Meanwhile, the NCS controller general, Hameed Ali, noted that the money was packed in a 6 big Bagco bag and loaded in a coaster bus, the Guardian reports.
An investigation has already been launched to reveal the masterminds behind the deal.
