Coronavirus: NCDC Announces 8 New Cases, Totaling 89 Confirmed Cases
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has now reported 8 new Coronavirus cases, 7 in Lagos and 1 in Benue State.
According to the centre, there are now 89 confirmed cases reported in Nigeria, 3 recovered patients and 1 death.

As at 04:00 pm on March 28, Lagos has the highest number of cases, with 59 confirmed cases, followed by FCT 14, Ogun and Oyo with 3 cases each. Other states are Bauchi 2, Enugu 2, Edo 2 and Ekiti, Osun, Rivers and Benue with one case each.

Meanwhile, MDB reported that President Muhammadu Buhari received Minister of Health, Doctor Osagie Ehanire and Director-General of Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Doctor Chikwe Ihekweazu at the State House on March 28 for COVID-19 briefing.
The briefing took place at the President’s residence, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
