Coronavirus: Nigeria Records Four New Cases, Recovered Cases Increases To 9
Nigeria has recorded four new confirmed cases; 3 in the FCT and 1 in Lagos state.
The Centre for Disease Control in Nigeria reported this through its official Twitter page, stating that;
Four new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 3 in the FCT and 1 in Lagos. As at 08:00 pm 31st March there are 139 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths.

Nigeria, as at Tuesday night has a total number of 139 confirmed Coronavirus cases, with Lagos state having 82 infected cases, which the highest number of infected cases per state.

The centre also revealed that the number of recovered cases in Nigeria has increased to 9, as MDB earlier reported that the index case in Ekiti state has been discharged after recovering.
Ekiti state’s index case is that of 37-year-old man who tested positive for coronavirus after he came in contact with an infected American tourist.
After weeks of treatment and monitoring at the state’s isolation centre, the man has now tested negative for coronavirus.
