Coronavirus: Nigeria’s Cases Hit 97 As NCDC Confirms 8 New Cases
The number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria has increased to 97 cases as at Saturday evening, after Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed eight fresh cases.
The centre in a tweet announced that;
Eight new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 2 in FCT, 4 in Oyo, 1 in Kaduna and 1 in Osun State

In an earlier report by MDB, the Kaduna case is that of the state Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai who has now tested positive to the virus.
The Governor is Kaduna’s first confirmed case, and the second in Nigeria to test positive for the virus.
Bauchi state Governor, Bala Mohammed was the first state Governor in Nigeria to be confirmed positive for the deadly disease, after having coming in contact with an infected person.
