Just In: German Chancellor, Angela Merkel Quarantined After Doctor She Came In Contact With Tested Positive For Coronavirus

German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, has gone into quarantine after a doctor she recently had contact with tested positive for the virus.
A spokesperson for Merkel said the 65-year-old chancellor had received a precautionary vaccine on March 20 against pneumococcal infection.
The doctor who administered the vaccine to her later tested positive for COVID-19.
Merkel’s spokesman said she was told about the doctor’s status shortly after she held a news conference on March 22 to announce new measures to curb the spread of the dreaded virus.
