Just In: Lagos State Discharges Five Recovered Coronavirus Patients
Lagos state government has on March 30 discharged five coronavirus patients from the Infectious Disease Centre, Yaba.
MDB earlier reported that the state government had announced that six of the patients had recovered and would be discharged soon.
The total number of recovered patients discharged by Lagos is now eight, including the Italian man who was the index case in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has received a cheque for the sum of 1billion naira from the United Bank for Africa (UBA).

United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) on March 26 announced a donation of over 5 Billion Naira (USD14 million), through the UBA Foundation, to catalyse a comprehensive pan-African response to the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic.
According to UBA, the donation will provide significant and much needed support to Nigeria and 19 other African countries, by supplying relief materials, critical care facilities, and financial support to Governments.
