President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation in a broadcast on Sunday evening, it emerged.
This was made known in a tweet by Adetutu Balogun, a presidential aide quoting Femi Adesina, special adviser on media & publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The broadcast, scheduled for 7pm, will be aired on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
President Buhari will broadcast to the nation Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 7pm – Femi Adesina.

Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of NTA and FRCN for the broadcast.
President Buhari had on March 28 met with Director-General of Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu and Minister for health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire at the state house in Abuja for COVID-19 briefing.
The briefing was to update the President on new measures introduced to curtail and prevent the spread of COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
