A popular celebrity who attended the recent African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA 2020) has allegedly tested positive to Coronavirus.
This news was first made public by controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, on March 19, adding that other Nollywood celebrities who attended the AMVCA needs to self isolate.
Olunloyo who tweets with the handle @KemiOlunloyo posted that;
A BIG Nigerian Celebrity has tested positive for #Covid19. Just like the foreign ones announced, wait for the MSM. Fans don’t like me talking about their fave Celebrities. They ask me to mind my business so pls WASH YOUR HANDS and stay away from Celebrities #CoronaVirusUpdate

However, in recent update on the celebrity, the person is allegedly a popular photographer and has stated that he is yet to be tested for the virus.
In a chat with his friend who leaked the news, the Celeb Photographer had told his friend his fears and why he thinks he might have the dreaded coronavirus, suggesting that he may have infected the guests at the event.
A Twitter user named Ifeoma Chukwuogo who also confirmed this news in a series of tweets, saying the celebrity came into the country from the United Kingdom and is down with the symptoms but hasn’t been tested.
She also tweeted that;
In the meantime, if you attended the AMVCAs , please self isolate immediately.

If you have come in close contact with anyone who did, to be safe also self-isolate and watch yourself for some days.
According to the mail sent to blogger Stella Dimokokorkus, he added that he had taken all necessary actions to get help and also get tested.
The mail reads;
The Whatsapp screenshots going around was my conversation with my friend. I have attached my own screenshot as evidence. I am no longer feeling unwell. I went to Lagoon hospital in VI to get tested yesterday and was referred to the Lagos state government.
The identity of the celebrity photographer is yet unknown.
