British PM Boris Johnson Welcomes Baby Boy With Girlfriend — Weeks After COVID-19 Recovery
Boris Johnson, British prime minister, and Carrie Symonds, his girlfriend, have welcomed a bouncing baby boy.
This comes weeks after his near-death battle with COVID-19 before being discharged from hospital on April 12.
The couple’s spokesperson, who broke the good news in a statement, said the baby was delivered in a London hospital on Wednesday morning.
The statement read;
The Prime Minister and Ms Symonds are thrilled to announce the birth of a healthy baby boy at a London hospital earlier this morning. Both mother and baby are doing very well. The PM and Ms Symonds would like to thank the fantastic NHS maternity team.
Several British political figures including Rishi Sunak, chancellor of the Exchequer, and David Cameron, former British PM, have taken to social media platforms to congratulate the couple.

Heartfelt congratulations @BorisJohnson and @carriesymonds on your wonderful news today. Sam and I are thrilled for you both! Sorry we didn’t leave the cot – but the climbing frame should still be in the garden!
