Richard Quest tests positive to Coronavirus

Cable News Network (CNN) presenter, Richard Austin Quest, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Quest who is based in New York City, America made the announcement on Monday evening during a show on CNN.
He also reiterated it in a tweet on his official Twitter page, stating that he only has few symptoms- majorly a cough.
The tweet reads:
I have caught coronavirus. I am blessed in that I have few symptoms – just a cough.I am saving my prayers and thoughts for those less fortunate. Stay in. And protect lives.

According to Quest, he would reserve his prayers and thoughts for those who have harsher symptoms of the COVID-19 as he called on people to stay safe.

The journalist anchors “Quest Means Business”, the five-times-weekly business programme and fronts the CNN shows “Business Traveller”, “The Express” and “Quest’s World of Wonder”.
Quest who is also CNN Business Editor at Large said he will continue to work from home despite his status.

This follows news of two other CNN anchors, Chris Cuomo and Brooke Baldwin, who tested positive to the Coronavirus.

New York in the U.S where all three are based, already has a death rate of 12, 654 from COVID-19.

There are over 790,000 infections from the pandemic in the U.S.
