Coronavirus: NCDC Announces Five New Cases In Bauchi, FCT
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded five new Coronavirus cases, 3 in Bauchi, 2 in the FCT.
NCDC made this known in a tweet on its official Twitter page on Saturday night, stating;
Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 3 in Bauchi and 2 in the FCT.
As at 10:10 pm 4th April there are 214 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-five have been discharged with two deaths.

As at Friday, April 4th, there are 214 confirmed Coronavirus cases, 25 discharged and 4 deaths in the country.
For breakdown of the cases per states, Lagos has 109, FCT- 43, Osun- 20, Oyo- 9, Akwa-Ibom- 5, Ogun- 4, Edo- 7, Kaduna- 4, Bauchi- 6, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2 and one case each for Rivers, Benue and Ondo.

Meanwhile, Ondo state had on Friday night recorded its index Coronavirus case as the NCDC recorded twenty new cases of Coronavirus.
The tweet from NCDC on Friday night also revealed that two new deaths were recorded in Lagos and Edo state.
In other news, the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire has said 18 Chinese doctors are coming to Nigeria with medical supplies including ventilators, to assist in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
Dr. Ehanire, made this announcement on April 3rd at the fifth joint national briefing of the Presidential Taskforce Force (PTF) on COVID-19 in Abuja.
According to him, the items being expected include medical equipments like personal protective equipment and ventilators.
