Five Coronavirus Patients Discharged In Lagos
Five patients who tested positive for coronavirus have been discharged after being treated in Lagos.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of the state, made the announcement on Sunday evening in an official tweet.
He said;
As we commemorate the sacrifice of love this #Easter, I bring to you more awesome news from our isolation facilities. Today, 5 more patients; 4 females, and 1 male have been discharged to reunite with their families and the society.

The Governor also disclosed in a follow up tweet that with the newly discharged patients, a total of 55 people have now been successfully treated and discharged from various isolation facilities in Lagos.

He also encouraged Lagos residents to continually observe social distancing, the stay-at-home order and also report any suspicious cases.

MDB had on Saturday reported that Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu confirmed the discharge of 4 Coronavirus patients including an 11-year-old boy from Lagos isolation facilities.
According to the Governor, of the 4 patients discharged, 3 were from Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) in Yaba and 1 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
Meanwhile, Oyo state has announced the discharge of one Coronavirus patient from the state’s isolation centre after a second test result proved negative.
The state’s COVID-19 Taskforce who made this known in Ibadan added that a patient requested a transfer to Lagos, making the total number of Coronavirus cases in the state 4.
