Good News: Lagos Discharges Five Coronavirus Patients, Including 10-Year-Old Girl After Full Recovery
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos state has announced that five more Coronavirus patients have now been discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) in Lagos.
He added that the patients comprise of two males and three females including a 10 year old girl who have all tested negative twice to Coronavirus.

According to the Governor’s tweet, a total of 29 patients have fully recovered and have been discharged to reunite with their families.
These 5 patients have been discharged to reunite with their families. This brings to a total of 29, the number of patients who have fully recovered and have been discharged from our facility at Yaba.

He, however, stressed that;
Although, there is a strong indication that the State is winning the battle against #COVID19, it is imperative that we remain steadfast to curtail the spread.

In a following tweet, Sanwo-Olu implored Lagos to desist from stigmatizing the discharged patients.
I want to also use this opportunity to advise Lagosians against stigmatizing the discharged patients. We need to do all we can to support them to get over the experience as soon as possible.

The Governor also appreciated frontline health workers, saying;
