Just In: Eight Coronavirus Patients Discharged In Lagos
Lagos state government has discharged eight COVID-19 patients who received treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) in Yaba.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of the state, who broke the news on Tuesday afternoon, said the patients; two females and six males – have fully recovered.
He tweeted;
More great news today from our Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba. 8 more people; 2 females and 6 males have tested negative and fully recovered from #COVID19. They have been discharged to return to their families.

Sanwo-Olu in a follow up tweet, said this brings to 69, the number of Coronavirus patients who have been discharged in the state.
He also encouraged Lagos residents to continue to adhere to all safety advice from health experts.
This brings the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our facilities to 69.

The Governor had on Monday announced the discharge of 6 recovered Coronavirus patients from isolation facility in the state.
