The tweet also stated the address will be aired on various television and radio stations across the country.
This is coming at the end of the 14-day cessation of all movement in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja ordered by President Muhammadu Buhari on March 29.
According to the President, the initial restriction which was ordered 15 days ago, was based on the advice of the Federal Ministry of Health and the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
There are high expectations for the nationwide address from President Buhari that is to hold at 7pm, as Nigerians speculate an extension of the lockdown on the 3 states.
