Kourtney Kardashian Set To Quit Keeping Up With The Kardashians
The popular Kardashian family, through their reality television show that has aired for over 13 years, have shown the good, bad and ugly part of their family to the public.
The show which stars the Kardashian Sisters– Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, their younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, their mum Chris Jenner and other cast from their immediate and extended family has seen the family grow, and go through different phases, all of which they have grown and emerged stronger from, until recently.
For months, rumor mills have been rife with stories suggesting that Kourtney, the oldest of the sisters wants to leave the show. But it remained unconfirmed until the most recent episode where fans finally saw Kourtney reach breaking point.
The most recent episode of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians (KUWTK) which aired on Thursday featured a heated altercation between the eldest sister of the Kardashian clan Kourtney, and Kim, wife of Kanye West, who have been at loggerheads over the years.
The pair hit boiling point in the premiere episode of the new season, with a physical brawl even as their younger sibling Khloe Kardashian intervened.
After a brief cooling off period (the KUWTK film crew actually paused for a week for the family to regroup), Kourtney sat down with Kim to clear the air, Refinery29 reports.
When Kourtney got back from her trip to Armenia, she, Kim, and Khloé sat down for a painful heart-to-heart conversation, which once again left Kourtney in tears saying;
I just feel like I’m on a hamster wheel and it’s not something I can continue to do.
The altercation also resulted to a tweet from Kourt, as she is fondly called, revealing that she won’t be watching the drama unfold, but would instead be spending time with her three children.
The reality TV star tweeted;
I won’t be live tweeting #KUWTK tonight, as I’m spending time with my kids while they are on spring break. I realize that a lot of the conversation right now surrounds my work ethic, and I feel like I need to just make one thing clear: raising children is a job as well. In fact,

Kourtney continued;
It’s the hardest and most rewarding job that I have ever had. I’ve decided to put my focus on my kids and my lifestyle brand, Poosh, which is all about finding YOUR healthy balance for living your best life.

I don’t judge anyone who chooses a different route, and I hope that everyone can appreciate my choices as well. With love, Kourt.

Kourtney had during her fight with her sister Kim, called the show “torture”, adding that she felt like she was “stuck in a f***ing trap.”
Refinery29 reported after Kourtney had a talk with Kim— mediated by the sisters’ friends Malika Haqq and her twin Khadijah — the Kardashian eldest sister said;
I’ve decided to take a big step back from filming and really just pick and choose what I will allow cameras to follow.
Her one exception, she said, is when she has “something that I think is interesting to film, or I’m excited to film,” such as clean beauty.
According to fans of the show, Kourtney does appear to be struggling very hard on this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
