Lagos Announces Three COVID-19 Deaths
Lagos State Government has on Saturday announced three more deaths from COVID-19.
Commissioner for Health in the state, Akin Abayomi, made this known in a series of tweets while confirming 32 new Coronavirus cases earlier reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

According to the commissioner, the deceased are 2 males and 1 female aged 52, 63 and 67 respectively, two of which had underlying health issues.

He added that the female was suspected to have had contact with an infected person who recently returned to Nigeria.

As at 10:10 pm April 17, there were 493 confirmed cases of Coronavirus reported in Nigeria, 159 discharged and 17 deaths.
