Lagos Records Three More Coronavirus Deaths
Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi has on Thursday afternoon confirmed the death of three Coronavirus deaths in the state.
He said this while confirming the discharge of 18 Coronavirus cases in state earlier announced on Wednesday by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in a tweet.

Other victims have no travel history or record of contact with any infected person.

It was earlier reported that the 51-year-old medical doctor died on Wednesday after allegedly contracting the virus from a COVID-19 patient he was treating at a private hospital.
The doctor died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) becoming the second medical personnel to die of the deadly virus. The first doctor to die of Coronavirus in Nigeria is Dr. Aliyu Yakubu who died in Daura, Katsina state on Saturday after returning to the state from Lagos three days before his death.
Professor Abayomi appealed to Lagosians to remain vigilant and report any concern about COVID-19 infection in their communities to the appropriate quarters.
As at press time, there are now 10 Coronavirus related deaths in Lagos.
