Lagos To Start Search For Active Coronavirus Cases, Confirms Seven Recovered, Discharged Patients
Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu confirmed that the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) has discharged 7 more patients after they tested negative twice to Coronavirus.
He made the announcement on Twitter on Thursday afternoon, saying;

Today, we discharged 7 more patients who have fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively for #COVID19

Today, we discharged 7 more patients who have fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively for #COVID19
He stated that with the new discharged cases, there are now a total of 39 recovered patients of Coronavirus in the state.
Governor Sanwo-Olu added that the discharged patients include one female and six males; three of which are foreign nationals; two Ukrainians and one Italian.
This brings to 39 the number of discharged patients in Lagos.

The governor urged Lagos residents to comply with directives in the state, saying;

Sanwo-Olu in a follow up tweet revealed that health workers will be going around the state to administer electronic questionnaires to enquiry about some symptoms like cough, cold and fever.
In the coming days, some of our health workers will be moving around in pairs to administer an electronic questionnaire at homes and healthcare facilities to make enquiries about some symptoms like cough, cold and fever.

While giving a reason for the questionnaire, the governor stressed that the enquiry is to intensify search for possible cases of Coronavirus in different communities across the state, also known as Active Case Search.

These officials can be identified with a #COVID19 outbreak response tag or a letter from the LGA.
He concluded by imploring Lagos residents to support the move by providing accurate information to help contain the pandemic.
