Lebanese Man Who Advertised Nigerian Woman For Sale On Facebook Arrested
Lebanese man who advertised a Nigerian woman for sale on Facebook, has been arrested.
It would be recalled that there was outrage on social media on Wednesday over the Lebanese identified as Wael Jerro who on Facebook put up a sales advert of the 30-year-old Nigerian woman named Busari Peace.
He put a price tag of $1,000 on the Nigerian woman who is from Oyo State. Wael Jerro was arrested after a manhunt was launched.
The Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Abike Dabiri-Erewa, announced his arrest via her Twitter handle on Thursday, April 23.
She stated that he was arrested by the Lebanese government, and will be prosecuted.
Dabiri-Erewa tweeted;

The NIDCOM also confirmed this arrest in a tweet on its official Twitter handle.
