This comes 14 days after the President had extended the lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) by two weeks.
According to the President, he extended the lockdown by another two weeks due to his concern about the increase in the number of confirmed cases and deaths despite the initial 14-days lockdown in those states.
The extension announced on April 13 by the President ends today. Hence, Nigerians are expectant as they await the address which will determine whether the lockdown will continue or be lifted.
