NCDC Confirms 14 New Coronavirus Cases, Toll Now 288
Fourteen new Coronavirus cases has been confirmed in Nigeria, 13 in Lagos and 1 in Delta State.
This was made known in an official tweet from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday night.
It added that at at 09:30 pm on April 9th, there are 288 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria, fifty-one discharged and seven deaths.

According to NCDC, the breakdown of Coronavirus cases per state is as follows; Lagos- 158, FCT- 54, Osun- 20, Edo- 12, Oyo- 11, Bauchi- 6, Akwa Ibom- 5, Ogun- 4, Kaduna- 5, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2, Rivers-2, Kwara- 2, Delta- 2 and 1 case each in Benue, Ondo, Katsina.

NCDC had on Wednesday night announced twenty-two new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, with total cases rising to 276.
In other news, Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Thursday confirmed that the state has discharged 7 more patients after they tested negative twice to Coronavirus.
He made the announcement on Twitter, saying that there are now a total of 39 recovered patients of Coronavirus in the state.
Governor Sanwo-Olu added that the discharged patients include one female and six males; three of which are foreign nationals; two Ukrainians and one Italian.
