NCDC Confirms Five New Coronavirus Cases
Total Coronavirus infection toll in Nigeria is now 323 after Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed five new cases on Sunday night.
The centre made this known in a tweet, adding that 2 of the new cases were reported in Lagos, 2 in Kwara and 1 in Katsina.
Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows: 2 in Lagos 2 in Kwara 1 in Katsina.
As at 09:10 pm 12th April there are 323 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
85 have been discharged with 10 deaths There are 19 states with confirmed cases in Nigeria.

In a follow up tweet, the centre stated that Lagos now has 176 total confirmed case, which is the highest in the country, followed by Abuja with 56 cases.

It would be recalled that NCDC as at Saturday night confirmed that the total cases in the country was 318 after 13 cases of Coronavirus were reported.
But with the current cases announced today, there are now 323 confirmed cases in Nigeria, 85 discharged and 10 deaths.
Meanwhile, the total number of recovered and discharged patients in Lagos has now risen to 55 as Governor Sanwo-Olu on Sunday evening announced the discharge of five patients.
In the same vein, Oyo state also announced the discharge of one confirmed COVID-19 patient from the state’s isolation centre after a second test result proved negative.
Oyo state’s COVID-19 Taskforce who made this known in Ibadan on Saturday added that a patient requested a transfer to Lagos, making the total number of Coronavirus cases in the state 4.
