NCDC Corrects Error, Says No New Case In Ekiti
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has corrected its earlier report which stated that there was a new Coronavirus case in Ekiti state.
It would be recalled that the centre as at 10:20pm on Saturday night reported that there were forty-nine new cases across the country, one of which was reportedly confirmed in Ekiti.
NCDC has now come out to refute its Saturday report saying;
Yesterday, we erroneously reported one new case in Ekiti. This was wrong and was caused by an error in the verification process.
Therefore, as at April 18 2020, there are 541 confirmed cases, 166 discharged and 19 deaths.
