Nigeria Records 22 New Coronavirus Cases
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced twenty-two new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria: 15 in Lagos, 4 in the FCT, 2 in Bauchi, 1 in Edo.
The centre made this known in a tweet on Wednesday night.
It also stated that the total number of cases in Nigeria has risen to 276 as well as forty–four discharged cases and six deaths.

In a follow up tweet, NCDC confirmed that Lagos has the highest number of cases in the country with 145 cases, followed by Abuja with 54 cases.
Other states with cases are; Osun- 20, Oyo- 11, Edo- 12, Bauchi- 8, Akwa Ibom- 5, Kaduna- 5, Ogun- 4, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2, Rivers-2, Kwara- 2 and one case each in Benuec Ondo, Delta and Katsina.

Total Coronavirus in Nigeria had risen to 254 on Tuesday night after NCDC announced sixteen new cases of Coronavirus.
Meanwhile, a 66-year-old citizen of the United Kingdom who travelled from India via Dubai to Lagos on Tuesday died of coronavirus in the state.
Lagos State commissioner of health, Professor Akin Abayomi, made the announcement on his Twitter handle on Wednesday.
In other news, the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Hameed Ali, has approved the release of 247 truckloads of relief items worth N3.250 billion and a Duty Paid Value (DPV) of N2bn from its warehouses.
This was revealed in a statement on Wednesday by the Service’s spokesman, Deputy Comptroller Joseph Attah.
He said the approval was in compliance with the presidential directive to provide relief items from seizures by Customs operatives.
