Nigerians React As Chadian Troops Led By President Idris Deby Burst Boko Haram Warehouse
The Chadian Army has dealt a major blow on Boko Haram terrorists in its ongoing Operation Boma’s Wrath, led by the country’s President, Idriss Deby.
Deby had ordered the operation following an attack on a military base in a Boma on March 23 that killed 98 Chadian soldiers.
According to Sahara Reporters, the battle at Kelkoua, bank of the Lake Chad on Saturday, April 4th saw the killing of many Boko Haram terrorists while bunkers hiding key commanders were discovered and destroyed.
Chad, with the help of the Israeli Army, mapped out the entire Lake Chad region containing both natural and artificial islands for the operation.
Nigerian soldiers in the sect’s captivity were also freed by the troop, West Africa Reporters on Sunday stated.
Chad destroyed five bases of the Boko Haram terrorists group, killed several insurgents and recovered hundreds of weapons.
Report from Chad’s presidency revealed that the bases in Niger and Nigeria were destroyed as part of Operation Boma’s Wrath, adding that operations against the terror group would continue without pause.
Some Nigerians on Twitter have reacted to the victory by the Chadian troops, comparing their effort to the fight against the terrorist group in Nigeria.

War is business and in business people make profit.
Again I ask, who are the people profiting from this multi-billion Naria Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria 🇳🇬? Is this an ORGANISED RACKET?
Why is Chad 🇹🇩 finishing Boko Haram and Nigeria 🇳🇬 is struggling to finish them off? https://t.co/zRN4n1HYwp

Chad Annual Budget 2020 is $2Bn.
Nigeria Allocation for Ministry of Defence is $2.41Bn.You know what that means? The allocation for Defence in Nigeria is more than Annual Budget of Chad, that bursted Boko Haram’s arsenal in 72hrs.
Boko Haram is a booming business in Nigeria.

Chad don’t have $1bn to withdraw from a depleted ECA to buy weapons
Chad 2020 annual budget is $1.99bn
Chad does not have advanced weaponry like Isreal
But see the stash of arms Chad just recovered from the Boko Haram.
Chad has a LEADER. Leadership Nigeria has lacked in 5yrs! pic.twitter.com/SdKjuY9vQ2

Did you know what Chad just did?
They demystified Boko Haram and prove they are not as magnificent as Nigerian military painted them.pic.twitter.com/i4tJZd15OF

Boko Haram has been using Chad’s territory to lunch attack on Nigeria’s territory. It’s against protocol for us to enter Chad to dislodge them. Chad now choose to be responsible for once & unpatriotic Nigerians think it’s opportunity to disparage our military. Continue!!

Imagine Nigeria launching a simultaneous attack on BH from our end as Chad continues their onslaught from their side. That leaves those bastards scampering for survival. If Chad is making gains, Chad, not France, what really is the matter with Nigeria flushing BH out?

Deby vows to wipe out BH & ordered the military to prepare for battle
Within 72 hours, Chad deployed gunships, gun trucks, armored vehicles and a large number of soldiers to the war

The greatest marvel in my lifetime about humans is that many educated people still make excuses for Buhari.
This is what a true General does. He takes charge or else his troops will lose faith in him. Chad lost soldiers and they went Ham on BH. Nigeria loses people daily. https://t.co/wItMoUnLqs

Nigeria begged Chad for years to play her part. Chad refused, instead romancing with BHT. Chad preferred to commit men to the G5 Force than the LCBC/MNJTF in Lake Chad. Chad wanted Nigeria & LCBC to pay her to fight. Now, BHT has hit Chad and Deby has woken up. Don’t be dramatic.

The Nigerian budget for defense ONLY is larger than the entire budget for Chad. They have bamboozled Boko Haram constantly for a week now by launching an offensive. They have captured BH commanders and retrieved thousands of weapons with their president leading the onslaught.

Wish Chad will borrow us their President for now. Cowardly Boko Haram commander smoked out from an underground bunker, by the Chadian Army, during a recent onslaught led by president Idris Derby. when the president leads from the front, you’re motivated, you see results evidently pic.twitter.com/2fVb0qnO1J

When the story of Boko Haram terrorism is been told, history will record that President Goodluck Jonathan failed to defeat them, President Muhummadu Buhari Failed. But President Idris Deby of Chad will have his name written on the sand of time. All hail Idris Debi the first 🙌🏻🙌🏻 pic.twitter.com/ZBPPRa6idP

Israeli Airforce mapped out Lake Chad, the major hideout of BH on the request of Chadian Government.
I know one man who only seeks the aid of Israel in pursuing personal vendetta.

Boko Haram may be degraded in Chad, but we know that in Nigeria, they continue to enjoy support from all corners, even from govt.
Scholarships from govt, wrong Intelligence, ransom money for kidnappings, bank robberies, illegal tax etc!
The real enemy isn’t BH, but the govt! https://t.co/g2CzKPGHW7

You can’t blame the Nigerian Army for not being as effective as Chad in the battle against Boko Haram.
To win wars, you need 100% support from the govt in terms of proper information & weapons but in our country our govt just send them to be slaughtered.
They’re humans too!!

Chad finally woke up to its responsibility after losing 97 soldiers. Was child playing games with Nigeria & Boko Haram before now? https://t.co/lf9eeb7EkN

Sad some Nigerians ain’t asking why BH relocated operational base to Chad?
If they’ve been following the news beyond Headlines, they’ll have seen @HQNigerianArmy pushed BH so hard & they’ve ran towards Lake Chad.
Series of meetings btw PMB & Derby over this & see the result.

Chad has better PR than the Nigerian Armed Forces.
They haven’t done any more than our soldiers have done, glad they have returned to the battle field after being hit with as much heavy casualty as we have had.
Lesson for the frontline countries to wage the battle together.

Nigeria lacks leadership right now.
Look at what the President of Chad is doing with his troops against the BHT.
It would have been an opportunity for Nigeria to join the offensive and further decimate the BHT.
