Three COVID-19 Patients Discharged In Kaduna
Kaduna state has on Friday evening discharged three Coronavirus patients after making full recovery.
Amina Mohammed-Baloni, commissioner for health in the state, broke the news without disclosing the identities of the patients.
She said;
The three patients are among the six persons that have tested positive for Covid-19 in the state. They have each tested negative for two consecutive tests, and have now been discharged.
Mohammed-Baloni revealed that;
This brings to four the number of persons Kaduna State has discharged this week. There are now only two cases of Covid-19 that are yet to be discharged and we look forward to being able to do soon.
She acknowledged the efforts of the medical and surveillance, members of the Emergency Operations Committee and other stakeholders involved in the efforts of the Ministry of Health to manage and contain Covid-19.
The commissioner assured residents that the state is safe, highlighting the importance of observing preventive measures over treating Covid-19.
In the same vein, Oyo State government has discharged another Coronavirus patient.
This brings the total number of discharged cases in the state to seven.
The State Governor, Mr. Seyi Makinde announced this via his verified Twitter account on Thursday.
As at press time, Oyo state has thirteen cases of confirmed Coronavirus. Out of these, seven had been discharged, one has been transferred to Lagos while the state has only five active cases.
