Twitter Users React To Tribalistic, Gang Rape Comments Made By Bello, Son Of Kaduna Governor, El-Rufai
Bello el-Rufai, son of Kaduna State governor, Nasir el-Rufai, has been called out for making sexual comments about gang-raping the mother of a Twitter user named Consigliere @oewonah.
The two men clashed on Twitter after the Bello criticized United States President, Donald Trump, for not doing enough to handle the outbreak of Coronavirus in America.
Bello tweeted that;
There is nothing as radioactive as an incompetent leader during a time of crisis. The United States of America is a case in point. A few states in Nigeria too.
Consigliere replied Bello insisting that the American President was miles better than President Muhammadu Buhari and even his father, el-Rufai, in terms of quality leadership.
Consigliere replied Bello saying;
He can’t call Buhari out for his ineptitude yet he’s calling Trump names? Did he vote Trump?
This escalated into a series of strong-worded replies and offensive outbursts from the el-Rufai Jnr directed at the Twitter user, Consigliere.
Bello sent a direct message to the Twitter user saying;
Tell your mother I’m passing her to my friends tonight. No Igbo sounds please! Tueh.
Hadiza Isma El-Rufai, the wife of Nasir el-Rufai, in the defence of her son, Bello said;
All you people talking about @B_ELRUFAI. Don’t @ me. Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind. All is fair in love and war. My belief: Respect everyone, but take no shit from anyone. I didn’t see any threats of rape. I would never condone that.

This comment and the exchange of words between Bello and the Twitter user triggered series of backlash from Nigerians at the el-Rufai family.
See some reactions below;
You people that laugh with Bello El Rufai on the internet, you’re ignoring the fact that he just threatened to gang rape someone’s mother this morning. Okay.

A foetus tyrant, Bello El Rufai, son of a baby tyrant, Nasir El Rufai of Kaduna State, just threatened to gang rape the mothers of citizens @oewonah & @OmoKakafiala.@PoliceNG @PoliceNG_CRU
Please Retweet, until it gets to relevant authorities. They are NOT ABOVE THE LAW! pic.twitter.com/VBPKXzB0fB

Let it stand for posterity that Bello El Rufai is a disgusting tribalist, a proponent of gang rape, and altogether a steaming piece of shit and a waste of valuable oxygen.
It’s very clear you learned all this hatred of Igbo people and this miscreant behaviour from your father. pic.twitter.com/NRDJNREZAf

This has got to be one of the vilest things I’ve seen on Twitter.
The reason Bello is so bold as to do this is because he knows that in today’s #Nigeria, no one will question oga’s pikin, and therein lies the big problem.
Others will see this nonsense, and aim to become ogas. https://t.co/mNgd1fgq9j

I read that Bello El Rufai’s message…& his mum’s response, and I’m so shaken & worried. How can a mother, a First Lady, defend her son’s gang rape threat on another’s mother? Is there hope for this country?
Is there really no limit to how low we can go on this politics thing?

Bello El-Rufai is clearly from a home where bad behaviour has been overlooked & enabled by parents who should have known better. He should have been reprimanded and trained in his earlier years . Today, he is a spoilt child with no decorum threatening to rape someone’s mother. 🙈

Bello El rufai: *Threatening to rape someone’s mother*
Nigerians: You are loosing it. Blah blah.
Hadiza Isma Elrufai: All is fair in love & war.
A very, very troubled family.
A psychological disturbed blood line.— Young Otutu (@YoungOtutu) April 12, 2020
El Rufai’s is threatening someone’s mum with gang rape. His mother (El Rufai’s wife) replies by saying that “all is fair in love and war.”
On international Day of the girl child sometimes this year, she will be a guest speaker somewhere talking about “gender-based violence” 😭

I have never seen a family so unfortunate as to be so possessed in bulk like this. The execration in the Bello fellow can melt the pit of Hell. I’m certain the Devil too is flummoxed at the level of evil in a single individual. It’s time to have Exorcists on Twitter. 🚶🏿♀️ https://t.co/4CiVnrazXe

Bello El Rufai- the Governor’s son- threatened someone’s mother with rape openly on twitter.
Hadiza El Rufai- the Governor’s wife- defended the threat as “fair” and implied it’s okay.
If this was a sane country,
That is the last time that family would ever hold a public office.— #OurFavOnlineDoc 🛂 (@DrOlufunmilayo) April 12, 2020
I can’t stop imagining me being the one that wrote that Bello El Rufai’s tweet, and some Aproko now mistakenly shows my mother.
My mother will disregard my family, professional and socioeconomic status to slap me that kind of Taooma mother’s slap. My end niyen.
