“We Are Encouraged” – Governor Sanwo-Olu Says As Lagos Announces Discharge Of 10 Coronavirus Patient
Lagos state government has announced the discharge of another 10 COVID-19 patients.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made this announcement on Friday evening via his verified Twitter handle.
He revealed that the patients include three females and seven males, three of which are foreigners.
Governor Sanwo-Olu stated;
Even with the number of cases rising, we are happy to celebrate our success stories because they show that a positive #COVID19 case isn’t necessarily a case of doom and gloom.
Today,10 patients; 3 females & 7 males including 3 foreigners have been discharged from our facilities.

He added that;
We are encouraged by these discharged cases and the support we have received from the citizens of the state in the battle against #COVID19 but I urge us all not to relent because it is imperative that we win.

The Governor stressed that;

As at press time, there are 981 coronavirus cases across the country, with Lagos having 590 cases from the total infection toll.
