14 Recovered COVID-19 Patients Discharged In Lagos
Fourteen patients receiving treatment for coronavirus in various isolation facilities in Lagos have been discharged after fully recovering.
The Ministry of Health in the state broke the news in a series of tweets on Monday.
The discharged patients tested negative to COVID-19 two consecutive times, and are no longer contagious.
The tweet said six females and eight males were all discharged from isolation centres at Yaba, Onikan, LUTH and Eti-Osa.

A total of 261 patients have now been discharged in Lagos – the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria with 1,123 cases as at May 3rd.

Also, the ministry urged Lagos residents to keep practising good personal hygiene, adequate washing of hands and safe physical distance.
Residents with COVID-19 complaints are encouraged to inform the state through the toll-free line; 08000CORONA.
Meanwhile, Lagos State Government has extended its palliatives to retirees awaiting Pension Certificates and to the oldest ‘Defined Benefit’ retirees residing in the state.
The palliatives which included staple foods like Rice, Garri and Semolina were distributed door to door to the vulnerable pensioners across Lagos state.
According to the state government, the distribution of the palliatives is still on-going as the team is due to cover the I.B.I.L.E zones.
The distribution of the palliatives was facilitated by Civil Service Pensions Office, Lagos State Pension Commission, Ministry of Agriculture and Lagos State Government Volunteer Corps.
