Bobrisky Speaks After Making Bail Following Arrest Over N30m Fraud
Nigerian cross-dresser Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, has finally spoken out following her arrest over an alleged N30 million deal breach.
The social media celebrity was arrested on Thursday and detained at the Ajah area command in Lagos.
Bobrisky was later released on bail and took to his Snapchat account to rant about people who back-stabs her, while claiming to love her.
The controversial brand influencer in direct reference of the charge for her arrest, bragged about not dealing with small money.
She posted on snapchat;
Chai, plenty haters, they don’t want to see me happy. Two-faced fools, God will help punish you all. You will come to me and tell me you love me but go behind my back to spoil me.
While confirming Bobrisky‘s arrest, police spokesman DCP Frank Mba explained that the cross dresser was arrested for allegedly collecting N30m from a Nigerian woman based abroad for the sales and marketing of an artificial eyelash brand.
DCP Mba also said Bobrisky was granted bail because it is ‘mindful of the people’ it takes into custody.
Mba stated;
She (Bobrisky) was arrested, but she has been granted bail; she is no longer in our custody but she is still under investigation. She was arrested on the allegation by a businesswoman that she fraudulently collected N30m from the businesswoman.
We had to grant her bail because of the lockdown and we are also mindful of the people we take into custody.
However, police affirmed that the case is still an active one and investigation is ongoing.
