Breaking: Total Coronavirus Infections Toll In Nigeria Exceeds 9,000 As NCDC Confirms 387 New Cases
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 387 new cases of coronavirus as total infections toll spike to over 9,000 cases.
It would be recalled that Nigeria hit the 8,000 cases mark four day ago, translating to the fact that, between May 25th and May 29th, Nigeria recorded 1,234 additional cases.
NCDC made the new announcement late Friday via its Twitter handle, bringing total confirmed infections to 9,302.
Its tweet reads;

NCDC also reported the discharge of 105 patients, bringing the overall number of successfully managed cases to 2,697.
However, death toll also grew by 2 deaths, increasing total coronavirus casualties from 259 confirmed yesterday to 261.
Also, according to the centre’s latest situation report, total samples tested nationwide have moved from 49,966 to 58,736 as at May 28th.
In other news, Lagos state government has discharged 29 more patients were discharged from the state’s isolation facilities after fully recovering.
With the new toll, there are now a total of 854 discharged patients in Lagos – the state with highest recovery figure in the country.
