Federal government has disclosed that Madagascar’s ‘COVID-19 cure’ sent to the country last week will be handed over to the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
This was made known in a statement by the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, during an appearance on Channels Television.

Ehanire, confirming the report, said the Ministry of Health would take delivery of the drug on Wednesday, which is the first working day of the week.
The Federal Government had declared Monday and Tuesday as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Fitr.
The minister said,
The Madagascar herb is supposed to be handed over to the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
That is when we will pick it up and then send to our research institutes, first of course to NAFDAC and then to the Nigeria Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and Development to look into it and tell us what it is.
