A pregnant woman diagnosed with coronavirus has delivered of a baby boy at Gbagada Isolation Centre in Lagos, it emerged on Saturday evening.
Lagos State Ministry of Health (LSMOH) announced this in a tweet saying;

LSMOH also announced that a coronavirus patient delivered a baby boy through caesarian operation on Thursday, May 14th at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).

The Ministry of Health in a follow up tweet appreciated the effort of frontline health workers at Gbadaga, LUTH and other isolation facilities in the state.

Meanwhile, 67 coronavirus patients including 2 Indians and a Chinese have been discharged from isolation facilities after full recovery.

The recovered patients were discharged from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, Onikan, Agidingbi, Lekki and LUTH isolation centres.
*️⃣The patients; 24 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 22 from Onikan, 11 from Agidingbi, 2 from Lekki & 8 from LUTH Isolation Centres have fully recovered & tested negative twice consecutively to #COVID19

With the new toll, there are now 608 recoveries from coronavirus in Lagos – so far the highest in the country.
