Breaking: NCDC Announces 265 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Now 7,526
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 265 new cases of coronavirus and 167 additional recoveries on Saturday night.
The centre announced this on its official Twitter page, stating;

On Friday, Nigeria’s total coronavirus toll was 7,261 with 2,007 discharged patients and 221 causalities.
With the new toll, there are now 7,526 total cases, 2,174 recoveries and death cases remain at 221, with no new casualty recorded.
Also, total samples tested nationwide have increased from 41,907 to 43,328 as at May 22nd, according to NCDC’s situation report.
In other news, thirty coronavirus patients have been discharged in Jigawa State after full recovery.
The Commissioner for Health, Dr Abba Zakari, confirmed this on Saturday, however, noting that the state also recorded seven additional cases.
According to him, the new cases are almajiris that were repatriated from other states to Jigawa.
