In his reaction, Aproko Doctor schooled her on the reason behind his approach to dishing out medical advice. He wrote:
There is a reason my handle is named “Aproko Doctor”
While I was in medical school, a lot of patients kept coming back to the hospitals in worse states. One reason; they do not understand the urgency of their conditions even after listening to the doctor’s advice https://t.co/fQIJI29qVS

Aproko Doctor isn’t the first doctor to try educating people about their health on Twitter.
You noticed him cos his style is effective & suitably tailored for a Nigerian audience most of whom are not complaining about it.
It offends you yet you’ve not blocked or muted him🤡🤡

I think it is a characterization he(they) take on when dishing out health advice. Because most of TwitterNG understand banter.
There’s a reason his name is Aproko Doctor.
Maybe read the tweets in that manner and you’d understand that no malice lies in them for most part.Cheers!

Public Health Education is a complex science. One of the most effective & proven health education strategies is using culturally appropriate language. This is why @aproko_doctor is a success. Because he understands how to grab Nigerians attention using our cultural lingo & tone.

Lota will be alright.
She said it like she was tired of them talking like that. I can’t be the only one who sensed the disgust in her question, talking about “a tone”. Leemao

If @aproko_doctor doesn’t do the things he do on here i.e breakdown all health topics so every average Tom,Dick&Harry can understand I wonder what most people would do. There are people who legit stopped/reduced their soda intake, eat more fruits, reduced late night eating etc…

Drink water
Don’t abuse antibiotics
Finish your dose
Don’t struggle with rats at 10pm
Don’t hold shit
Reduce salt intake
Don’t add salt to dodo
Eat a fruit
Wash pillow case
Ear wax is not bad, stop cotton bud..
Stuffs i picked from @aproko_doctor ‘s TL. I relate with your tweets— Oludipe (@Oludipe1) May 11, 2020
There was someone choking at a mall somewhere in Nigeria, no first aid.
Someone came to the scene, pulled up a thread once made by Aproko Doctor on how to save a person in such situation. The steps were taken and the person’s life was saved.
That’s the quality of his tweets!

All of a sudden @aproko_doctor isn’t teaching the right way 😂😂😂, the FRSC tells you overspending KILLS. It’s psychology when you think of the consequence you avoid the cause of the problem.
It’s a branch of emotional marketing you people should use the data you are using to— Sexologist (@thesanasi) May 11, 2020
