Picture Kodak: Video Director Clarence Peters, Others Detained Over Dancer’s Death Granted Bail

Nigerian video director, Clarence Peters, who was detained by the Lagos state police command over the death of video vixen and dancer, Love Divine, better known as Picture Kodak, at his studio has been granted bail.

Police sources who confirmed his release said Peters and others who were detained were granted administrative bail while investigation continues, LIB reports.

The source said;

They were granted administrative bail while investigation is ongoing. Members of the public will be updated on the outcome of the investigation as soon as it is concluded.

On April 30, MDB reported that Picture Kodak died from electrocution while charging her phone at Clarence Peters’ studio at Omole Estate, Lagos.

The dancer reportedly gave up the ghost after she was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Subsequently, Clarence and some members of his team who witnessed the incident were on May 3rd invited for questioning regarding circumstances surrounding Kodak’s death and were detained afterwards.

A day after his detention, his girlfriend identified as Jennifer came out to give clarification about his arrest and further details about Kodak’s death.

According to her, Clarence was not at the scene of incident and he wasn’t detained at the police station as an alleged murder suspect.

As at press time, no official statement have been released by the police regarding investigation into the death of Kodak.
